We at Roundstone Systems know you take your privacy seriously. Information about our users is an important part of our business and it is necessary that we collect certain information if users wish to utilize advanced Roundstone Systems features. We are not in the business of selling user information to others. We share information only as described below.
What this Privacy Policy Covers
This privacy policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information that Roundstone Systems collects when you are on any Roundstone Systems site and when you use Roundstone Systems services. Creating an Roundstone Systems User ID
Roundstone Systems enables members to create Roundstone Systems User IDs. During registration, a member is required to provide his or her contact information (such as name, e-mail address, state, country, and zip code), as well as some basic demographic information (such as role, title, business focus/industry, purchasing influence, and component interest). By doing so, we can provide a more personalized experience on our site. Once you register with Roundstone Systems and sign in to our services, you are no longer anonymous to Roundstone Systems administrators.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Cookies that Roundstone Systems creates that are stored on the user’s hard drive do not store any personally identifiable information. Some of our business partners may use cookies within our network. However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.
Log Files
To plan resource requirements and measure the success of certain site features, Roundstone Systems uses IP addresses to analyze trends, administer to the network, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

E-mail Lists
If a user wishes to subscribe to any Roundstone Systems e-mail list, we ask for the user’s e-mail address. The user will be notified of receipt through a confirmation e-mail. E-mail addresses provided by users for newsletter subscriptions will not be sold or provided to third parties, except as noted in Business Transfers. Roundstone Systems periodically sends service updates and topic-relevant content through its newsletters. These infrequent but useful updates keep Roundstone Systems newsletter subscribers up-to-date with important information related to the topics to which they are subscribed.
Roundstone Systems Events
If a user wishes to register for an event through Roundstone Systems events, we ask for the user’s e-mail address and some basic demographic information. Registration information will not be sold or provided to third parties, except as noted in Business Transfers. Roundstone Systems periodically sends updates and topic-relevant content through e-mail communication. These infrequent but useful updates keep Roundstone Systems event registrants up-to-date with important information related to the events and topics to which they registered.
Security
Roundstone Systems takes every precaution to protect our users’ privacy. When users submit sensitive information via any Roundstone Systems Web site, your information is protected both online and offline.
Your Roundstone Systems account information is password-protected for your privacy and security.
